Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of CartoonAI. By using the service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use CartoonAI.

CartoonAI is a studio for writing stories and turning them into AI-generated cartoon pictures, voices and videos. Features, models and prices may change, and some features may be temporarily unavailable.

• You can start as a guest; guest work is linked to your browser or device.
• If you create an account, give accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the service.

• Generations cost coins. The price is shown before you start a paid generation.
• If a generation fails, its coins are returned to your balance automatically.
• Coins have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
• Purchases made through an app store are also subject to that store’s terms.

You keep the rights you have in the stories, pictures and audio you provide. You give us a limited licence to store, process and send that content to our AI providers only to run the service for you.

Subject to these terms and the terms of the underlying AI providers, you may use the cartoons you generate for personal and commercial purposes. AI output may be similar to output created for others, and we cannot guarantee that it is unique or protected by copyright.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to everything you upload and to how you use the results.

You agree not to use the service to create, upload or share content that:

• infringes copyrights, trademarks or other rights, including characters, logos or brands you do not own;
• depicts real people without their consent, or is used to impersonate or deceive;
• is sexual, involves minors in any harmful way, or is hateful, harassing or violent;
• promotes illegal activity, self-harm or dangerous acts;
• tries to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits and safety filters of the service.

Our AI providers also run safety filters. A request they flag may be refused; in that case your coins are refunded and you can edit the scene and try again.

AI results can be inaccurate, unexpected or imperfect, and the same prompt can give different results. Review your cartoons before you publish them. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, CartoonAI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
